CTMH Technique Blog Hop- A Bit of Blot

Welcome to CTMH blog hop. If you are coming from Belinda McLane blog then you are on the right track. This month we are trying the Blog technique.
I made two images using this technique. It took me a few minutes to figure out how much spray to add to the block, but once you know, you just can't stop creating. Note: please let you blocking dry before you stamp an image on top.

Project #1-
I blotted with two colors (Pixie # Z2644 & Sweet leaf #Z2153) and let it dry before stamping the image.
finished size: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

Next, I stamped the flower with thistle ink and for the stem i used the Pear ink. Liquid glass was added on the flower.

Project # 2-
I used crystal blue ink and glacier ink. I blog one color all around and filled the open spaces with the other color. This created a light and dark background for my sentiment stamp.

    finished card with embellishments

I hope you like it and would like to try it out. Now hop on to Tonya Whitehurst blog.
